365 Day of encouragement
365 Day of encouragement
John Roberts started writing ‘Thought for the Day’ messages
at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. His aim was to provide
reassurance and ministry to many in his home church and more
widely who were alone and struggling through lockdown.
This book arose from that and includes a year’s worth of daily
messages of encouragement, suitable for Christians of all ages
and those who are searching. The messages in this book are, and
will continue to be, relevant in any season of life long after the
pandemic has ended.
Commendations
Thought for the Day has been a spiritual oasis for our fellowship during the pandemic. The devotionals are full of theological
insight and practical application. Be challenged and encouraged by the warmth of this Christ-centred, God glorifying, Spirit-led devotional.
Pastor Kristian Dimond

Clear, concise and encouraging. These daily meditations were prepared during a national pandemic when sickness, bereavement and isolation had become part of daily life. But they are not tied to a national crisis. Covering 366 daily readings they are meditations from the mind of a preacher with a heart of a pastor and rooted in the depth and breadth of the Bible. For all who want to begin or close the day with a vision of their God and the challenge and encouragement of His Word, these will prove a meaningful
pause for thought and I warmly recommend them.
