FEAR OF THE GODS
FEAR OF THE GODS
Eight years have passed since The Babylon Trilogy, Book One: Terror in the City. Yakov and Zeke are safe in Babylon following Nebuchadnezzar’s invasion of Jerusalem.
What is going to happen to their family and friends left in Jerusalem? Jeremiah says that the city will be completely destroyed and anyone left there shall die because people will not stop worshipping false gods. Will Yakov’s and Zeke’s plan to rescue Sarah and her friends succeed in time?
And who is the mystery boy found lying on a Babylonian road? What is his name? Where are his family? Can they keep him safe?
As we follow the exciting stories of our fictional families, we also discover more true events recorded in the Bible that happened in the time of Daniel, Jeremiah and Ezekiel.
Can the family continue to trust God when everything seems bleak?
We have really enjoyed reading The Babylon Trilogy as a family. Gill’s writing style has thoroughly engaged us all and we have become eager to find out what happens to the characters next. The books are particularly helpful to compare the fictional storyline with the factual Bible accounts of that time.
Jenny Hudd, Primary School Teacher and Mum This is an exciting story with good characters. It gives interesting historical information about Babylon. I found it a gripping story and once I started, I couldn’t stop reading.
